This is a very spontaneous moment, i just started to throw shadows and some light touches all around the place, found a figure and worked on it.
Tools, basic Airbrush and Dodge/Burn.

*sighs* Don't you just love the dodge and burn?

The piece is very nice, cool calming blue has always been my favorite color. Love the stark light from dark. Interesting creature.

Actually i do, even though im ral young, i have a [dunno if defined right] old school methodology, i use very few filters, most of my effects, are made all by me, basic filters used... gausian blur, motion blur, radial blur, clouds, noise, polar coordinates, ripple, wind... pretty much all i use.

I've learned that filters aren't the way to go anyway, so you're right on top of it. Best to make your own textures. It shows you took the time and effort. ^^

Thanx for postin girl! well yeah, eventually u find out that effects and plenty of the filters can be more throughly manipulated by makin em urself, and not as limited. I was chekin out ur sketches, very nice work, ill post some of my sketches ass soon as i get my hands on a scanner =p.
